About this event

We are excited to announce that Eress Forum 2026 will be hosted by DB Energie in the heart of Frankfurt, Germany. This year’s forum comes at a particularly timely moment, as a new grid access model for DB Energie’s traction power network is set to go live on July 1, 2026.

The forum will bring together regulators, industry leaders, and key stakeholders for a day of engaging discussions, innovative solutions, and collaborative networking. Hosted at the iconic DB Silverturm, the event combines cutting-edge insights with a venue rich in history, offering a unique setting to explore the future of energy and grid management.

DB Silverturm – Brief History

  • Built 1972–1978 as the headquarters of Dresdner Bank.
  • Designed by ABB Architekten and known for its silver aluminum façade, which gave it the name Silberturm.
  • At 166 m, it was Germany’s tallest building from until 1990.
  • After Dresdner Bank merged into Commerzbank (2009), the tower was renovated and later leased by Deutsche Bahn.
  • In 2020, it was officially recognized as a cultural monument due to its architectural significance
